EASTER SUNDAY MARINADE RECIPE

GREEK HOMEMADE “MARINADA”

 

Marinades are usually made up of seasonings and oils, and are used to flavor and enhance the flavor of food without adding fat.

They are often used on meats before cooking to add flavor and prevent the meat from drying out.

They are also often used on vegetables or other foods before cooking to enhance their flavor.

👆Oil-based marinades are particularly useful because they add a significant amount of moisture to the food being marinated.

The traditional Greek Easter table isn’t complete without a festive marinade made of nature’s best ingredients!     

Products used in the recipe:

 

The following marinade is super simple, fast, and easy to make.

Use premium quality ingredients (less quantity to reach a more intense extraordinary taste makes them worth their value), and turn your Easter table into a feast of unique smells with one of a kind Mediterranean summer twist!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup MALVA EVOO
2 lemons
garlic (2 cloves, minced)
2 tablespoons GREEK MIXED HERBS & SPICES
1 teaspoon fresh thyme (chopped)
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Method:

🍋 Juice the lemons in a bowl and add the olive oil while whisking.
Then add:
✅ the garlic
✅ the greek mixed herbs & spices
✅ the fresh thyme
✅ the bay leaf
✅ the salt
✅ the pepper
